Aging

Skin Aging

is a natural process in which our skin gradually loses parts of its basic building blocks

Skin Structure

SkinStructure

Human skin has three layers – epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin), dermis and hypodermis (subcutaneous tissue).

The dermis is the second layer of skin. It is composed mainly of connective tissue containing collagen and elastin. Among them are extracellular substances such as hyaluronic acid. Fibroblasts are the main cells of the dermis that are responsible for synthesizing and organizing the structural elements of the dermis – collagen and elastin that make up the skeleton of the skin and hyaluronic acid, which maintains its water balance.

Skin aging is a natural process in which the content of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases due to the slowing down of the process of their renewal.

Fortunately, aesthetic medicine has developed methods to stimulate the reproduction of collagen and elastin or to supplement lost hyaluronic acid. At Skin Line Aesthetic Clinics we have all the existing anti-aging tools and our dermatologists will offer you the most suitable procedures for your individual condition and age.

20s

At the age of 20 to 30 years

all the building blocks of our skin are 100% and that is why it is hydrated, soft, gentle, smooth, elastic and toned. The face is expressive, without wrinkles and with a pronounced youthful glow.

From 20 to 30 years of age skin care is primarily prevention of premature aging – sun protection, active lifestyle, proper nutrition, abstinence from alcohol and smoking, stress avoidance, light cleansing and hydrating therapies, appropriate home care recommended by dermatologist. Depending on the individual condition, we recommend procedures with botulinum toxin to relax the muscles and prevent facial wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes.

30s

At the age of 30 to 40 years

the skin has begun to lose its basic building blocks and the first signs of aging appear. The facial wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes begin to become static. The first pigment spots and the first signs of sagging skin appear.

At this age, it is important for the skin to be well hydrated and toned and for facial wrinkles to be blocked so that they do not become static. To restore lost hyaluronic acid, we recommend cosmetic and injection procedures such as HydraGlow, Oxygen Hydration, Geneo +, Hydrating Mesotherapy, Hyaluronic Boosters, PRP Plasmotherapy and botulinum toxin to block facial wrinkles. To restore collagen, elastin and fibroblasts, we recommend laser procedures – such as LASERfacial and laser rejuvenation.

40s

At the age of 40 to 50 years

Depending on our lifestyle, we lose about 1% on average per year of the collagen, elastin and fibroblasts contained in our skin. The lines of our face begin to relax, most visibly in the lower part of the face. At the same time, the lost building material in our skin leads to a loss of volume.

At this age, we recommend procedures for general toning and stimulating the production of new collagen, elastin and fibroblasts such as LPG Endermolift, Venus Legacy, InmodeFORMA, Morpheus8, Radiesse, our preserved regenerative procedures Signature PRP and Signature PRF; blocking facial wrinkles with botulinum toxin and adding hyaluronic acid to restore the lost volume and water content of the skin – hyaluronic mesotherapy and dermal fillers. Different types of laser therapies are also suitable for combating hyperpigmentation and photoaging, such as LASERfacial and laser rejuvenation.

50s

At the age of 50 to 60 years

Our skin loses its supporting structure and sags, the chin merges with the neck, pigmentation increases, the skin becomes rough and dry, we lose extra volume in the cheekbones and temples.

60s

At the age of 60 to 70 years

All the building blocks of our skin are depleted and therefore it is dry, wrinkled, uneven and pigmented. The facial lines are loose due to the lost foundation.
