in the temporal and eye area with fillers and Botox
Nowadays, when it is possible to change almost every aspect of our appearance, a new procedure is gaining popularity – “Cat Eyes” or “Foxy Eyes”. Bella Hadid (instagram.com/bellahadid), 24, who last year was voted “model of the year” by industry insiders at the prestigious Models.com publication, has been cited as the “culprit” for this phenomenon. Her almond eyes, which she successfully accentuates with make-up, have become her “trademark” and gained popularity under the name – “cat eyes” /Foxy Eyes/. Few women are born with such eyes and evil tongues say that even Bella Hadid did not have this fortune. Thankfully, there are now various techniques developed to achieve them. They all aim to physically or visually lift the outer edge of the upper eyelids and gently draw them towards the temples.
Before you get started, you need to decide if this fashion trend is right for you. Every face has its own characteristic features, peculiarities and differences. It is possible that in your case the drawn cat eyes will not contribute to improving your appearance, even on the contrary. Corrections in the eye area – “brow lift”- and blepharoplasty / eyelid correction / can be achieved by invasive (surgical) and non-invasive methods – voltaic plasma, lifting sutures or injection of botulinum toxin and/or fillers.
Surgical blepharoplasty is performed by a plastic surgeon, in a sterile operating room, under general or local anesthesia. During surgery, excess skin and/or fatty tissue is removed to correct the shape of the eyes and rejuvenate them. The recovery period is relatively long – 7 to 14 days. The procedure is suitable for adult patients or in the presence of fatty tissue in the eyelid area. The result achieved is permanent and should therefore be approached with particular care, especially when it comes to transient fashion trends. The risks of complications in surgical blepharoplasty are the same as in any surgical operation plus the risk of achieving an unexpected and irreversible result.

Foxy Eyes using lifting threads. The procedure is non-surgical and is performed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, with local injection anesthesia. Using lifting sutures inserted subcutaneously with a cannula, the eyebrows and outer edge of the eyes are repositioned. The result is immediately visible, can be corrected at the time of the procedure and lasts up to 2 years, until the sutures are completely resorbed. The recovery period is 2-3 days, but the patient must only sleep on his back for a minimum of 7 nights to prevent the sutures from being dislodged, so the risks of asymmetries and undesirable results are high. Complications related to allergic reactions, swelling, pain and redness in the treated area are possible.

Facelift in the temporal and perioral area Fox Eyes using hyaluronic fillers and botulinum toxin (Botox). The procedure is short, non-surgical, performed by a dermatologist and does not require anesthesia. If not required, botulinum toxin is first injected to reduce muscle contraction, lift the brow and minimize wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes, and an almond-shaped eye is achieved with appropriate hyaluronic fillers injected into the temporal area and lateral edge of the brow. The recovery period is up to several hours. The result after insertion of the fillers is instantaneous, lasts up to 2 years and can be corrected if necessary.
