Non-invasive alternative to liposuction
CoolTech Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive and painless cryogenic technology that eliminates excess fat.
CoolTech Cryolipolysis effectively reduces local fat deposits by gradually extracting body heat from subcutaneous fat levels through controlled cooling and vacuum. The goal of the procedure is to permanently reduce the body’s ability to store fat in specific areas. The Spanish COOLTECH device by COCOON medical is FDA certified.
CoolTech Cryolipolysis works like this – a special applicator sucks fatty tissue through a vacuum effect that temporarily reduces blood circulation. The area in question is cooled painlessly to -8 degrees Celsius in less than one minute, and the procedure itself lasts 70 minutes. A cooling effect is generated until the tissue reaches the programmed temperature. The goal of the cooling is to achieve crystallization of at least 30% of the fat cells in that area in the first treatment by eliminating 3 of the 5 main constituents of the fat cell. The vacuum effect reduces blood flow to the treatment area and through targeted control only excess fat is treated without damaging skin, muscle and other tissues. The procedure initiates a natural process of fat disposal through the lymphatic system.
In the human body, fat cells are a constant quantity. They have the ability to increase in size but not to divide. Fat cells are more susceptible to crystallization when exposed to low temperatures because of the fatty acids they contain. adjacent cells, such as fibrocytes, blood vessels, etc. have greater resistance to crystallization by cooling. This characteristic is one of the factors why cryogenic technology does not damage the surrounding tissues. After prolonged exposure to low temperature, the adipose tissue begins to crystallize which triggers the process of degradation; the nucleus of the cell is irreversibly affected. The process of removing the dead cells from the tissue, processing them and eliminating them through the lymphatic system begins.

The CoolTech® cryolipolysis procedure is the reduction of subcutaneous fat in treated areas of the body through controlled cooling technology and fat cell removal. For this purpose, a tip with an adjustable vacuum is used. This selectively induces apoptosis of some of the fat cells.
It depends on the patient. In the most common case, 1-3 sessions are done on the same area every 6-8 weeks. A repeat treatment on the same area is done 1 month later. After 3 treatments, up to 70% destruction of fat cells is achieved.
The procedure lasts 70 minutes. This is the time required to freeze the adipose tissue to minus 8 degrees. In the first 5 minutes of the procedure, a cooling sensation is felt, but after that it becomes habitual.
The results are visible after the first 15 days. Overall, the treated area is reduced by 1.3 cm to 5.3 cm ±.
The procedure allows patients to return to their normal activities immediately. Because the procedure is non-invasive, there is no need for recovery time.

A combined approach for perfect results
For optimal effect, Cooltech treatments should be performed in combination with LPG Lipomassage and/or Venus Legacy. This combination of treatments guarantees the removal of excess fat, then smoothing and tightening of the skin, as well as cellulite reduction. The combined approach is applied only after prior consultation with our specialists, who prepare an individual treatment plan for each patient.
