Permanent make-up removal and microblading with ND:YAG laser

Permanent makeup removal and microblading with the ND:YAG laser is an effective and safe method that uses short pulses of light to break down pigment in the skin. The laser works by selective photothermolysis, directing energy to the pigment particles, which are then broken down and gradually cleared by the body’s natural processes.

How does the procedure work?

The pulses of the ND:YAG laser penetrate the skin and destroy the pigment without damaging the surrounding tissue.
The colour of the pigment affects the effectiveness – black and dark shades are more easily removed, while red, orange and white may require a special approach.
The number of treatments varies according to the depth and type of pigment – typically 3-8 sessions are required with 4-6 weeks in between.

What to expect?

Slight redness and swelling after the procedure (subsides within a few hours).
Possible appearance of crusts, which should not be combed.
Gradual lightening of pigment with each session.

Contraindications:

Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Skin infections or inflammation in the treated area.
Tendency to keloids.
